Policies

Masks are required when receiving bodywork from me, and I ask that you wear either a well-fitting surgical mask, a KN94, K95, or N95. I have multiple HEPA filters in my room, and I disinfect the table and other high-touch surfaces between clients.

Illness

This is extremely important: If you have ANY symptoms that might be signs of being, or getting, sick, I ask that you cancel. There is no charge for late cancellations due to illness. I can’t stress enough how important it is that I am not exposed to any pathogens, due to medically fragile family members and the life-and-death consequences that might arise from my bringing home a cold or flu virus. If you have symptoms that fit your usual experience of allergies, please call me before you arrive to discuss the options.

Cancellation Policy

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy and charge full price unless you are sick or suspect you’re getting sick. If an emergency comes up, let me know and we can discuss the cancellation charge.

Arrival

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time. You are welcome to use the restroom and relax in the waiting area, or in your car if you prefer to avoid indoor exposure to other clients. I share the office with one other person, Matt Walker, and his clients might also be in the waiting room when you arrive. I book my sessions every 75 minutes, and if you are late, I will end your session at our expected time so I do not begin my next client late.

Payment

Payment is expected at the time of our session. I accept cash, checks, and credit cards. If you prefer to pre-pay for sessions, let me know. If you prefer to pay individually for each session but not take out your credit card each visit, I can securely store your card information in my payment software and charge your card after your leave.

Accessibility

My office is wheelchair accessible. Please let me know if you need assistance.

Scents

The office is scent free, as much as possible. I do not wear scents or use scented products in my treatments, and ask that all my clients refrain from using scented products such as detergents, perfume, cologne, shaving creams, lotions, shampoos, and conditioners, etc. that will be noticeable to others. Many of my clients have environmental sensitivities that are activated when they are exposed to natural, or synthetic, fragrances.

Drugs and Alcohol

Please do not come in under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Being impaired by substances will decrease your benefit from our work and overall create an unpleasant work environment for both of us.
